1. Purpose
These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between reopt Inc. (the “Company”) and users (“Users”) with respect to the reopt Handbook service (the “Service”).
2. Definitions
- “Service” refers to the reopt Handbook and related digital content provided by the Company.
- “User” refers to a person who uses the Service under these Terms.
- “Content” refers to documents, data, images, videos, code, and any other information made available through the Service.
3. Effect and Modification of Terms
- These Terms become effective when posted on the Service.
- The Company may amend these Terms in accordance with applicable law and will notify Users of changes and their effective dates in advance.
- If a User does not agree to the amended Terms, the User may discontinue use of the Service.
4. Provision and Modification of the Service
- The Company aims to provide the Service 24 hours a day, year-round.
- The Service may be suspended, in whole or in part, for reasons including system maintenance, repair, replacement, communication failures, or force majeure.
- The Company may modify or discontinue parts of the Service, with prior notice when feasible.
5. Obligations of Users
- Users must comply with applicable law, these Terms, and the Company’s operational policies.
- Users must not engage in:
- impersonation or misuse of others’ information,
- interference with the normal operation of the Service,
- infringement of the Company’s intellectual property rights, or
- any activity that violates applicable law.
6. Intellectual Property
- All Content on the Service is owned by the Company or its legitimate rights holders.
- Users may not copy, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit Content beyond what is expressly permitted by the Company.
7. Disclaimer
- The Company is released from liability when the Service cannot be provided due to force majeure, including natural disasters, war, or communication failures.
- Information provided through the Service is for general reference only and does not substitute for professional legal, tax, financial, or medical advice. Users are responsible for their own use of the information.
- The Company is not liable in connection with the use of the Service, which is provided free of charge, except as otherwise required by applicable law. This does not exclude liability for damages caused by the Company’s intent or gross negligence.
8. Governing Law and Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- The court having jurisdiction over disputes arising from use of the Service shall be determined in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.
9. Personal Data
The Company protects and processes Users’ personal data in accordance with applicable law and its Privacy Policy.
Addendum
These Terms take effect on May 17, 2026.
